Have you been naughty?

2026-02-04 Movie: Silent Night, Deadly Night (2025)

Ho ho ho! Merry Xmas, children! Here comes Billy! Have you been a good little boy? What? What did you say? Oh! A little bird told me you’ve been a NAUGHTY BOY!
Meanwhile, while the Northern Hemisphere is freezing at 0°C, here in my country we could literally fry eggs on the asphalt. I hate summer.
So! I thought that maybe, just maybe ,if I wrote something about Xmas, my body could feel a tiny bit of that beautiful winter breeze.

So… what about the reboot of Silent Night, Deadly Night (2025)?

Well, I don’t know what you think about Rohan Campbell, but I’ve loved him ever since Halloween Ends. His performance there was excellent! And while digging for some info, I found out he’s been involved in way more Xmas movies than I ever imagined xD
The movie keeps the original format and adds a bit of Tarantino flavor with chapter titles and story arcs. For me, that’s not really a +1, but I appreciate the attempt.
The gore and kills are solid, and the story follows the original, with a few additions that don’t always fully come together. This isn’t a bad movie, it’s just a “meh” movie.
And honestly, I hope they don’t get the brilliant idea of filming a sequel.

One is more than enough.

New old-style horror carnival game!

2026-01-22 Game: Carnival Massacre

This is the first entry in my “Reviews” section!
Yesterday, I was just messing around when I came across this old-school gem, featuring a story that blends Carnival and Horror themes. At that moment, I thought: “Well, time to re-sharpen my credit card,” and I bought it.
The game itself is pretty basic, but WOW, the pre-rendered textures are absolutely delicious — just take a look: Imagen Steam Sometimes, while you’re fooling around in the game, paper garlands fly across the screen and that’s a GREAT detail.
Now for the bad part… but don’t panic, there are only a few things the developer needs to fix: some minor bugs, a few boring bosses, and the most annoying issue of all the HUD cursor is painfully slow.

So… is it worth it? YES! This is out of the question.
