The lost siblings of "Goosebumps"

2026-01-28

As a ’90s kid, I just had to write about Goosebumps, the famous horror series that traumatized us all when we were young. But did you know that Goosebumps wasn’t alone? There were A LOT of TV shows and book series exploring horror in a very similar style. You’ll have to forgive me, but in my country there was barely any trace of these products during the ’90s. Post image Luckily, the glorious (and sometimes infamous) Internet has now thrown all this information right in our faces, giving us access to things our parents never could. So here it is: a list of the long-lost siblings of “Goosebumps”!

- Bone Chillers (TV series and books)
- Spinetinglers (books)
- Shivers (TV series and books)
- Graveyard School (books)
- Strange Days at Blake Holsey High (TV series)
- So Weird (TV series and books)
- Are You Afraid of the Dark? (TV series and books)
- Spooksville (TV series and books)
- Point Horror (books)
- Eerie, Indiana (TV series and books)
- Deadtime Stories (TV series and books)

Well, it’s time to feed your inner ’90s kid monster! I hope you enjoy this mini list. And of course, it’s obvious that not all of this came from R.L. Stine’s hand, so someday I’ll gather all the information about the life, work, series, and books of the god we all know as R.L. Stine.

A Nostalgia Rush

2026-01-25

Hey you! YES, YOU! Do you want to be rich? Do you want light work and big money?
Well, I have a proposition for you! Take this kiosk, these lemons, and a couple of glasses. And you know the saying: “If life gives you lemons… make lemonade and make millions!”

Post image Ha ha! That was the INTRO!
I remember being a little kid, playing this simple video game on my little “computer corner”, and somehow… it felt like pure gold.
The game doesn’t have many interactions, you only control prices, supplies, and upgrades. But the pixelated graphics and the changing weather give it a special touch.
This homesick 2002 game will get a full review, I promise. For now, I just wanted to pull it out of the dusty drawer of my mind and gift you this little nostalgia rush

Let's talk about

2026-01-23

Hey hey hey! I’ll open this section by talking about what I expect from “23 Years Later: The Bone Temple”.
This saga has been weird from the very beginning: directors filming the movie with cellphones? Characters constantly betraying each other? This is definitely not the Hollywood we’re used to — and sometimes, that’s GREAT. I personally hate Hollywood standards, because they cut out all the good ideas directors have and turn them into flat, soulless movies.
Now, with “23 Years Later”, things change and it really sets the saga apart from its prequels. It leaves those infected standards behind and goes full savage — island cannibals, raw violence — and at times it turns into something simply grotesque.
So… what do I expect from this movie? First of all, I want to know EVERYTHING about “The Jimmies” and Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal. They’re mysterious, their behavior is unusual, and there’s clearly more going on there.
Post image I just hope they don’t mess up the character.
As for the rest… honestly, I just want more of the same shit!

2026-01-25 Update (HAVE SPOILERS)

HOLY SHIT! That was absolutely mind-blowing! The entire movie revolves around The Jimmies, and OH GOD! Dr. Kelson has an insane scene with Iron Maiden’s “The Number of the Beast” blasting in the background. I won’t give you a full review just yet, you’ll have to wait for it in the “Reviews” section.
But trust me, folks, you have to watch this movie. It’s even better than the prequel!
